Accessibility and Accessible Products Info

This website was designed to meet or exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA, which can be viewed at http://www.mmd.admin.state.mn.us/pdf/accessibility_standard.pdf. FireFly servers are preinstalled with Microsoft Windows Server^® operating system software, which includes a variety of tools and utilities to promote accessibility. The setup guides provided with our servers are in digital formats that are compatible with most text-to-speech programs. Additionally, FireFly Computers also provides our server setup information in video format that can be accessed at www.fireflycomputers.com/howto. We are happy to assist with any additional accessibility issues upon request.

Environmental Certification

FireFly Computers is committed to environmental responsibility. Our desktop virtualization solutions help reduce energy use by over 80% compared to traditional desktop PCs and help reduce e-waste by over 95%. EPEAT is still in the process of developing their environmental certification standard for servers (find out more at www.greenelectronicscouncil.org). In the meantime, FireFly Computers has chosen to use only 80 Plus^® certified power supplies in our servers to achieve the highest levels of energy efficiency. Links to EPEAT and Energy Star^® certification pages for third party monitors and displays have been provided on the individual product pages. In addition to energy efficiency, FireFly Computers is also committed to responsible disposal of our server products. We are happy to assist customers with recycling outdated server equipment through the nationwide e-Stewards.org computer recycling network.

FireFly Servers are built using top-quality components from industry leaders, including Intel^®, Crucial^® and others. We have verified that every supplier of the parts and components used in our FireFly servers has affirmed their compliance with all US and international conflict-free mineral regulations. We are confident our FireFly servers are free of conflict minerals, and we are committed to providing products that continue to be both environmentally and socially responsible.
